Life is beautiful and hard and full of moments that too quickly become memories. I believe in telling the story of each season, as it is. With a focus on portraits and parenthood, I’ll capture your family in all its sweet, simple, or downright crazy realness.
family photos, but make it fun
Family photos shouldn’t be overwhelming. Really. Your time with your loved ones is too precious to spend it stressed and worn-out, which is why I’m here to help you prepare for a session that’s simple, relaxed, and fun. I’ll walk you through the whole process (locations, outfits, even preparing your kids!) so you can show up to your session relaxed, knowing that you’ll go home with precious memories and beautiful photos to remember them by.
Planning can be a lot. Outfits, locations, getting the whole family on board and excited – it’s quite the task. Thankfully, you don’t have to do this alone! I’m here to help with everything.
All my clients have access to my full session guide, which contains a location guide with reference photos, styling tips for a polished yet comfortable vibe, and tips on preparing for success with kids.
Relax & let me make sure you look your best!
During sessions, I try to balance between simple poses & real, authentic moments. I usually start with the classic posed portraits and then begin to gently adjust to encourage movement, play, and lots of hugging. I come prepared with a list of the images and poses I want from each session, and gently guide our time without sacrificing those sweet, small moments of exploration and play.
Embrace the beauty of the moment.
In my session guide, you’ll find a packing list of snacks, toys, and other rewards that will help smooth over any tantrums. But if you have kids, you know that regardless of how well we plan, kids have minds of their own. Luckily for us, they are always cute. If our plans go awry, have no fear! We’ll embrace the moment and get beautiful, authentic photos that you will look back on for years to come with joy (and probably a fair bit of amusement).
